Established in 1999 by Marylou Lowder Kent, LTSI is a full service title insurance, escrow and closing agency in Springfield, Illinois. Ms. Kent is a licensed attorney who spent 14 years as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Illinois State Bar Association where she was actively involved in the drafting and lobbying of real estate, title and lending legislation on both the state and federal level. With a dedicated staff behind her, the pavement is set for success.

Our in-house attorney, Marylou Lowder Kent, is ready to assist with any challenging issues that may arise during the course of a project.

Mary Lowder Kent is a 1979 magna cum laude graduate of the Southern Illinois University School of Law where she served as Managing Editor of the SIU Law Review. Previous to opening her own business, she served as the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Illinois State Bar Association for 14 years, representing the interest of the organized bar at both the state and naitional level. Before that she worked for several years in the Illinois State Senate as Legal Counsel to the Senate President and Parliamentarian. She was appointed a member of the ISBA Real Estate Section Council in 2000 and has served as the Legislative Chairperson for the Section Council since that time. She also serves on the Education, Finance and Political Action Committees and Board of Directors of the Illinois Land Title Association and on the Education Committee of the American Land Title Association. She has been a moderator and presenter at several educational seminars for the legal, real estate and lending professions.

Corrina Fletcher is our Office Manager and Closing Agent. She has over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Office Management. She holds a degree in Computerized Business Systems and Accounting from Robert Morris College and a degree in Communications from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She has been with Land Title Services of Illinois since its inception in 1999 and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the real estate closing process. A lifelong resident of Springfield, she is married with three children.

Emily L. Herron has several years searching experience in southern Illinois counties and has just recently moved back to the central Illinois area. She has a degree from John A. Logan College in Office Supervision and Management and several certificates including Legal Office Specialist. She is currently pursuing a Legal Studies degree at the University of Illinois of Springfield. She is married and lives in Decatur with her husband, Scott, and two cats, Talula and Crazy Legs.
